Gaybrielle Marquez, aka: Gabi, became interested in dance from a very young age, especially in the genre of Hip Hop. She wanted to glide, pop, lock, and break dance like some of the most well known dancers, singers, and rappers we listen to daily. She joined the Dance Elite family around the age of 11. They encouraged, and taught me to cultivate my dancing interest in multiple styles of dance; ballet, jazz, lyrical & hip hop. The impact of becoming a dancer with Dance Elite has helped me to become the adult I am today. Between my family at home and my family at Dance Elite I was no longer a shy person, and strived to be these greatest “me” I could be, beyond a dancer.
Gabi attended Permian High School where she flourished in Art and met her now husband. She loves being a mom to their (soon to be 2 year old) son, and two German Shepherds dogs.
Gabi has been a nurse since 2014, attending Odessa College and later acquired her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is currently completing requirements for a Master’s Degree in Nursing, to finish as a Nurse Practitioner. She works for one of our local hospitals to serve our community’s health care needs, and is excited to be teaching Hip Hop at Dance Elite this year.
To this day she aims to be the best version of herself for her family, friends, patients, and self. Gabi has been part of the Dance Elite Family for many years and is thrilled to be teaching the hip hop class offered this year to our aspiring dancers! She aims to be the positive influence and Hip Hop inspiration for our dancers, just as she had dancing.
Dance Elite is very excited to have Gabi back in the studio as an instructor and look forward to the exciting things her class will discover.
Madison Boozer started dance at a very early age, and has been a part of a dance family for nearly 16 years. Astonished by the grace, beauty and talent Ballet had to offer, she then decided to take it more seriously when she turned 10. She began her formally training with Midland Festival Ballet, where she had the opportunity to participate in their company and attended Regional Dance America for nearly 5 years. Madison continued her training with Dance Elite for 2 years before progressing to teaching classes here at Dance Elite.
Madison's experience as a ballerina has shaped her into the person she is today by imparting grace, discipline, and resiliency. "Ballet is a difficult discipline that strengthened my resolve and stimulated my imagination because of its artistic movement. My character and perspective have been shaped by the things I've learned on the dance floor, that carry over into my daily life."
Madison Graduated high school May 2022 and has an associates degree in Psychology from Midland College. She is currently adding a Business certificate to her Associates degree as she plans for her further education.
She is excited to teach ballet at Dance Elite this year. Madison has the opportunity to pass on the grace and discipline of this age-old art form. She is excited to encourage students the love of dancing, inspire them, and watch as they progress on this wonderful journey.
